Bo is gone forever

Sad to read last week about one of the world's oldest languages dying out.

I believe languages are an important part of culture and need preserving where we can, just like buildings. Because, when they're gone they're gone.

Our attitudes towards animals and languages are oddly different. Think of the huge efforts that go in to preserving animals facing extinction, especially the last handful. But when it comes to language, we don't have crash courses teaching others and so on.
