Helen Duffett for Cranbrook

Just a quick one, as I haven't mentioned yet that my Lib Dem colleague Helen Duffett is standing in a council by-election in Redbridge next week.

Helen is a great campaigner and has helped us lots in Haringey, including in my own Fortis Green ward. She will be a formidable councillor and I know she's already been working very hard. Redbridge was the scene of a fantastic Lib Dem win from 4th place just 18 months ago - I was there to help then and hopefully I'll be able to make it to help Helen out this time.

There is a group from Haringey going over to help on Sunday actually, but I got tickets for Wimbledon through the ballot. So I am going to be sitting in a bar in Wimbledon watching the rain pour down - errr, I mean, watching tennis in the blazing sunshine.
